A red tent was where women gathered during monthly menstruation and childbirth. Together, they shared stories and wisdom. They comforted each other spiritually, and physically. Over the last 3 months, I have been working really hard and am now earning about 50% of the cost of my mortgage. I have a long way to go, to get to where I want to be. As of 2017 we have changed our name to Woman’s Choice Perinatal Services. We wanted to let people know that we offer way more than just doula services. We also used “Woman’s Choice” as a way to empower our clients. We want them to know that you have choices when it comes to your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. Birth the way you want! We are here to support you.
