On our 32nd Anniversary and Valentine’s Day, we celebrate not only romance, but friendship, kindness, laughter, and the deep connections that make our close-knit community feel like home. Love lives in the small gestures, the shared stories, the helping hands, and the familiar smiles we see each day.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 32 wonderful years at this location — years filled with memories, milestones, and moments that have shaped who we are today. We honor the long and storied history that came before us, the foundation that allows us to stand here together tonight.

Through every chapter, it has always been the people — each of you — who make this place so special. You are the heart of this community.

Once again this year, we welcomed The Right Rev. Bishop Bonnie Perry, the 11th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. The bishop presided at our Christmas Eve service, which was very well attended. We had residents from all four of our areas of our community in attendance at that service. What a beautiful way to welcome the baby Jesus born to us that day! Then on the first Sunday after Christmas we had some very special guests singers at that service, “The Canterbury Carolers” who sang for all the residents! This community really knows how to come together and worship in our beautiful and sacred St. Luke’s Chapel! Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!
