No-Discard Sourdough Starter (5g Method)

Want to start sourdough without wasting flour?
Try this super simple starter method!

Ingredients
• 5 g flour
• 5 g water
• Small jar

Day 1–3
Feed every 24 hours
Mix 5 g flour + 5 g water
Stir well
Cover loosely
Keep at room temperature

Day 4–7
Feed every 12 hours
Morning & night
Add 5 g flour + 5 g water
Mix well and cover loosely

How to know it's ready?
• Starter doubles in 4–6 hours
• Lots of bubbles
• Fresh tangy smell

Tips
• Keep jar in a warm place (22–26°C)
• If smell becomes strong, feed again
• Patience = strong starter
