Tina Orr – Director of Wellness
Tina’s presence brings peace to residents and their families by guiding them through difficult transitions with grace and empathy. Her unwavering commitment to hospice care shines through in her constant education of the care team and her follow-ups to ensure every need is met.

Jill Shaffer – Med Tech
Jill brings a calming presence and listens with empathy. Her coworkers describe her as someone who brings grace and humanity to Juniper Village. Jill truly embodies the heart of hospice through her compassionate care every single day.

Paula Householder – Med Tech
Paula goes above and beyond simply because that’s who she is. She’s knowledgeable, caring, and always striving to provide the best for residents.

Brandee Barnes – Med Tech
Brandee is full of life, and her heart is bigger than her body! She has a gift for making people smile and leaves a lasting impact on everyone around her.

Rosie Nichols – Environmental Services
Rosie’s quiet strength and compassion shine as she sits with those nearing the end of life, offering a silent prayer, and ensuring they are never alone. She checks in with families, listens to their stories, and makes sure their needs are met with love and care.

🩷 November is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month 💜

At AseraCare Hospice, we’re proud to partner with so many compassionate healthcare professionals who make an incredible impact in the lives of patients and families every day.

This month, we’re honored to recognize one of those extraordinary partners — Tara Santos, LPN from Corry Manor — as our 2025 Heart of Hospice recipient. 💖

Tara leads with empathy and purpose. She goes above and beyond to ensure comfort, dignity, and peace for her residents — often adding those small, heartfelt touches that make the biggest difference. Her dedication to advocacy, kindness, and true patient-centered care reflects the very best of what hospice represents.

We’re grateful for Tara and for all our skilled nursing facility partners who continue to demonstrate compassion, collaboration, and excellence in care. Together, we are making a difference — one heart at a time. 💜

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

At AseraCare Hospice, we are proud participants in the We Honor Veterans program — a national partnership between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs. This initiative helps hospice professionals better understand the unique experiences and challenges faced by those who have served, and ensures that every veteran receives compassionate, dignified care at the end of life.

Recently, our team held a Veteran Pinning Ceremony at Warren Manor to honor one of our hospice patients, Charles. Surrounded by family, Warren Manor staff, and our AseraCare Hospice team, Charles was recognized for his service and sacrifice with a certificate, a pin, and a heartfelt prayer shawl.

Attached to the shawl was a note that read:
“May this shawl be a sign of God’s loving, healing presence. May it warm you when you are weary, encourage you when you are discouraged, and remind you that you are surrounded by the prayers of others.”

This special shawl was handmade and blessed by the Comfort in God’s Arms Prayer Shawl Ministry of Blessed Sacrament Parish — a beautiful symbol of gratitude and care for one of our nation’s heroes.

💙 We extend our deepest thanks to Charles for his service to our country, and to his family for allowing us the honor of recognizing him and being part of his care. It was a privilege to celebrate his life and legacy.

We are deeply honored to serve those who have served us. ❤️🤍💙

🎉 Celebrating 95 Beautiful Years! 🎉

Yesterday our 💕AseraCare Hospice💕 team had the privilege of celebrating Betty’s 95th birthday at Corry Manor. Surrounded by her loving family — including her daughter and son, their spouses, her sweet granddaughter, and also her grand-pup! Betty was truly showered in love, laughter, and thoughtful gifts. 💐

Her beloved stuffed cat, Tootle-bug, was right by her side as always, keeping her company throughout the celebration. The AseraCare team joined in along with the caring Corry Manor staff to make her day extra special. There were balloons, flowers, and smiles all around, and Betty even enjoyed a refreshing popsicle to top off her celebration. 🍭💖

Betty is one of those rare souls who is always smiling — to know her is truly to love her. Her joy and warmth brighten every room she’s in, and we are so honored to have shared this milestone with her.
