We hope everybody had an awesome Thanksgiving! 🦃 Here at the Auxiliary, we’re thankful for everybody who helped make this year’s food cupboard giveaway possible! With the help of hospital staff and auxiliary members, we were able to compile 1,405 lbs of food and 72 turkeys! Thanks to everybody who participated!

This year, we at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital Auxiliary are thankful for all of our wonderful members! With your help, we were able to provide thanksgiving meals to 60 local families! Thank you to everybody who donated and have a happy thanksgiving everyone!

To say the month of November has been a busy one for the auxiliary would be an understatement! At our annual gala this year, we presented the winners of the first annual John D. Neilan award, given in recognition of those who embody the traits that many knew John for: his giving nature and his dedication to the community. Congratulations to George Fisher of Fisher Florist and Pat Todd of Blu-Prints Unlimited for their well-deserved reception of this award!

We also were able to partner with Sarah St. Amour at J McLaughlin in Watch Hill to raise $200 to help support the hospital, and a HUGE thank you for that.

As always, we will continue to stay busy, with more updates coming soon!

MEMBERS! ANNUAL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT!!

The Auxiliary of L+M Hospital cordially invites our members to attend our Annual Meeting.

Sunday, November 10th

12:00 – 4:00 PM Pilot House Ocean Beach Park New London

Please join us as we celebrate our accomplishments of the past year, install our new slate of Officers, and award the first annual .

The buffet dinner will include:
Chicken and pasta
Beef Teriyaki
Salad
Rolls
Dessert
Non - Alcoholic Beverages
* Cash Bar will be available *

Please help us fill our Food Cupboard with non-perishable food items such as:

Stuffing, Gravy, Pudding, Cranberry Sauce, Instant Potatoes, Pie Filling, Canned Vegetables

Greetings all! We will be hosting a party on August 27th at Filomena's in Waterford! As a fundraiser, 20% of the proceeds will go to the Auxiliary. All are invited, and feel free to bring a guest, relative, etc.

The Auxiliary of L+M is sad to report that John Neilan passed away on Friday evening the 8th.
He was a long time member and supporter of the Auxiliary. Whatever was needed, John was there to help, always with a smile and kind word. Please keep Karen Neilan and family in your prayers.

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that Lisa Giordano, a long time member of the Auxiliary and long time Auxiliary Board member passed away this morning at L+M Hospital surrounded by her family.
Lisa was a dear and trusted friend to many, a colleague, a lover of the arts, lifelong resident of New London and someone whose life made a difference to all who knew her.
Please keep her family in your prayers.
