Grief doesn’t follow a schedule, and it doesn’t always show up in the ways we expect.
Sometimes it’s the smallest things—a familiar scent, a song on the radio, or even walking into a store that’s been rearranged—that can bring everything rushing back. Moments that seem ordinary to others can feel overwhelming when they carry memories of someone you love.
If this happens to you, please know it’s completely normal. Grief isn’t something you “get over”—it’s something you learn to carry, and some days will feel heavier than others.
Be gentle with yourself in those moments. Pause, breathe, and give yourself the space to feel whatever comes. There is no timeline, no right or wrong way to grieve.
You are not alone. 🤍
