In 2023, Focus on Diabetes began a ground breaking, statewide prostate cancer initiative called Project Health. Prostate cancer is almost 100% curable if detected in early stages but new prostate cancer cases continue to increase.

The 2026 Cancer in Iowa Report indicates that prostate cancer is now the number 1 new cancer in the state. Focus on Diabetes/Project Health is proud to be leading this initiative.
