Are we ready for the big holiday festivities starting next week? It's a difficult time for many people for a variety of reasons. So let's hop into our box of coping skills and start pulling out tools. This can be very helpful and quick to bring anxiety down and clear your mind.
1. Find a quiet place. If you're at someone else's home, the bathroom and ear buds are a great place to start (no, I'm not kidding 🙂)

This weekend is the end of daylight savings time. For some this means less sunlight and a feeling of the "winter blues". Is it the "winter blues" or Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? The information below may help you decide if it's time to talk to a professional.
I have a trick I use to help get through those dark days of winter....I set a countdown of the number of days until "Spring forward" on my phone. At first, the number may look like a lot but as I see it going down in January and February, it's very helpful!

My very last May is Mental Health Awareness month post. Remember to care for your mental health like your physical health. If you have physical pain, you go to Dr and get help. If you have mental health pain, you go to someone who can help you. It's 2023...time to leave the stigma in the past where it needs to be. Take care!
