What an incredible Irish celebration here in Waterloo! ☘️💚

A heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful residents, families, guests, staff, and volunteers who came together to make this one of the most fun and memorable celebrations we’ve had at Garden Place. Your smiles, laughter, and festive spirit made the day truly special!

We would especially like to thank the Gaelic Origins Irish Dance, who poured their heart and soul into every step. Their performance absolutely mesmerized the audience and brought the true spirit of Ireland right into our community.

Guests enjoyed green beer, leprechaun punch, Irish coffee, cookies, and popcorn while cheering on the dancers and celebrating together.

Today we celebrate someone who truly does it all — our incredible maintenance director, Tony!

Tony is a huge part of the Garden Place family and to say he’s just our maintenance guy would be an understatement. Around here, Tony is our everything guy. From fixing what’s broken, painting, moving furniture, to stepping into the kitchen when we’re short handed, to even filling in as chef at our other Garden Place communities — Tony is always willing to step up wherever he’s needed.

Tony brings more than just skill to the job. He brings laughter, a little friendly teasing, and a whole lot of heart. Our staff and residents can always count on his pleasant attitude and the time he takes to stop and chat. And while he might tease you a bit before helping, we all know Tony would do anything for anyone.

We are truly lucky to have him as part of our team.

Happy Maintenance Appreciation Day, Tony! Thank you for always taking care of business with a big heart. 🔧❤️
