We’re excited to share that we now have a blog on the Weight In Gold Wellness website. Our first post explores how emotions can influence eating habits and what to do about it in a compassionate, practical way.

You can read it here:

Emotions naturally influence eating habits. Appetite, food choices, and meal timing can shift in response to feelings such as stress, excitement, boredom, or sadness. These responses are part of the human experience and ...

Let’s talk about fullness.

Many of us grow up believing that “enough” means feeling full.
But fullness is just a physical sensation — it’s your stomach stretching.
It isn’t a measure of success or nourishment.

Our bodies aren’t designed to get full at every meal.

What we actually aim for:

✔ Feeling comfortably satisfied
✔ Appetite that feels regulated between meals
✔ Less food noise and urgency

One helpful check-in we often share:

After eating, your body should feel comfortable enough to go for a gentle walk or do light movement.

If a meal leaves you unable to move comfortably, that’s a sign you may have pushed past what your body needed — not a failure, just information.

Our bodies shouldn’t be so preoccupied with digestion that we can’t participate in life.

When we chase fullness, we’re more likely to eat past what our body needs — which can lead to discomfort like nausea or reflux, especially for people using GLP medications.

The goal isn’t a full stomach.
The goal is feeling well.

Your health goals don't disappear THIS DECEMBER!

This is exciting. 👀

The TRIUMPH-4 trial results for Lilly’s investigational medication retatrutide were released, showing weight loss of up to 71 lbs (~28%) and improved arthritis symptom scores over 68 weeks in the highest-dose group—far beyond placebo.

This treatment is not available yet and still needs further review and regulatory steps, but it’s incredibly encouraging to see more tools being developed that target the biology of obesity more effectively.

We’re watching the data closely and will continue to break down what’s real, what’s next, and what actually matters for patients. You can rely on Weight In Gold Wellness to keep you informed as the science evolves.

Weight maintenance through the holidays is not failure 💛

It is a clinical win.
It is emotional success.
It is metabolic protection.
It is long-term thinking.

Because health doesn’t come from a perfect 6 weeks. It comes from a sustainable 12 months… and a lifetime.

🟡 At Weight In Gold Wellness, we help you know which phase you're in — and how to thrive in it.

What phase are you in this season — maintenance, momentum, or reset?

(Share in the comments — or ask us what phase makes the most sense for you.)

This is such an important message. GLP-1 medications change biology, but they don’t erase the emotional weight many people have been carrying for years.

At Weight In Gold Wellness, we believe body, biology, and behavior all matter, and real success happens when we support the whole person—not just the number on the scale.

If you’re using a GLP-1 medication, it’s normal to still have old habits, fears, or stories that show up. That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. It means you’re human. And it’s exactly why behavioral and psychological support is part of high-quality obesity care.

Sharing this post because it puts into words what so many people experience but rarely talk about.

Discover why emotional and behavioral support is essential when using GLP-1 medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide. Learn how therapy can help navigate body changes, identity shifts, and long-term success.
