Artlighten LLC is an art therapy studio in Watertown, CT. Art Therapy is process oriented, and your unique journey of healing belongs to YOU.

You do not need to be an artist to benefit from art therapy! Our office is located within the Siemon Company building, a large brick factory building on Siemon Company Drive. To access the building, please park in the lot along the long edge of the building and walk up the covered staircase into the front lobby. We will greet you in the front lobby for an appointment and then show you to the waiting area.

Hi all! Karina here, one of the art therapists at Artlighten and co-creator of ArtReach, our mobile art therapy studio. 🚌
Back in April, I wrote a letter of manifestation in hopes of building our art therapy bus. The letter was written to my future self and I wrote about my goals *as if they’d already happened* to manifest them. At the time it was written, we were waiting to hear about the grant proposal that we'd submitted to create our mobile art therapy studio - so that was the first thing I wrote about, and now here it is... 🚌💛🌙

In art therapy, we often explore the power of imagination and belief - the way creating something in symbolic form can begin to shape it into reality. This was a beautiful reminder of how vision, creativity, and trust in the process can bring dreams into form.

💌 No art experience needed! Led by art therapist Karina, Self-Love Club is for women 18+ and provides a guided art directive and connection with other women each month. It provides group connection but is not group therapy.

🚌 New here? We've created ArtReach, a mobile art therapy studio, to expand access to creative mental healthcare statewide. And it will be making its debut this Saturday by hosting Self Love Club!

Last week’s Self Love Club invited a little play, creativity, and Halloween spirit 👻🎨 We explored our inner child and identity through creating superhero costumes and masks - reflecting who we are, our alter egos, or qualities we want to bring forward a little more. A reminder that self-expression can be both fun and deeply meaningful. 💫 With, of course, sequins and glitter for the costumes!
