Cheers to 5 Years Sophia!!

Sophia grew up in Cheboygan, MI with her two younger siblings. She moved to South Dakota in 2018. After moving to Watertown and starting work at Stoneybrook she gained an interest in furthering her education in healthcare. She attended Lake Area Technical College and gained first her LPN degree then went on to get her associate degree to be an RN. Upon graduation she took a full-time job at Avera St. Lukes in Aberdeen in the ICU. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her boyfriend of seven years, Caleb. They have a cat named Pelican and a dog named Fezzik. Her favorite part of working at Stoneybrook has been the relationships and experiences she’s gained from coworkers and residents. She is grateful for the opportunities that working at Stoneybrook has afforded her and the continuous support from coworkers past and present. We are grateful for all that Sophia has done for StoneyBrook and our residents the last 5 years.
