Liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy) is a quick and effective way to treat actinic keratoses, which are rough, sun-damaged spots on the skin that can sometimes turn into skin cancer. During the treatment, your provider applies a very cold spray to freeze the lesion. This may cause a brief stinging or burning sensation.

Afterward, the area may become red, swollen, or form a small blister before crusting over and healing—usually within 1–2 weeks. It’s important to keep the area clean, avoid picking, and protect your skin from the sun as it heals.

Cryotherapy is a simple in-office procedure with minimal downtime and is one of the most common treatments to help prevent progression to cancerous cells

✨Shave Biopsy✨

A shave biopsy is a quick procedure used to check a spot on your skin. The area is numbed, and a thin layer is gently removed for testing.

It only takes a few minutes and does not require stitches. The site will look like a small scrape and typically heals within 1–2 weeks.

Aftercare:
Keep the area clean, apply Vaseline, and cover with a bandage.
