We would like to wish Betty Reppe a Happy Retirement! After 20 dedicated years, she is ready to see what else life has in store for her. Betty started in 2005 as office administrator and has been a key component to the compassionate care and service provided at Wight and Comes. We thank her for all her hard work, dedication and humor she brought to the office. You will be missed!

This event is an evening of prayer and encouragement for those who are experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one. The evening will include presentations about finding the light of Christ in the midst of grief. Warm your heart and soul with a candlelit ceremony, cookies, cider and the anticipation of Christmas.

Feelings of grief intensify during holidays and birthdays, but also can hit when least expected. To help, we’re sharing 5 uncommon grief triggers:
1. A song with significance comes on the sound system, say, while getting a haircut.
2. Spotting someone who looks like a loved one in a crowd.
3. Updating contact information for a subscription, and see a loved one’s email or cell number.
4. Meeting someone with the same name, age or job as a loved one.
5. A restaurant or store frequented with a loved one has just closed permanently.
It’s important to remember that grief triggers are a reflection of the love and importance of a loved one’s life in yours. Let us know of other uncommon, unexpected grief triggers
