At our recent Health & Wellness Expo, Nutritional Services provided an exceptional visual demonstration of the amount of saturated fat found in our favorite foods and simple swaps to create a healthier recipe. The information was so well received we've asked them to set up the demonstration again at our table this weekend at the Watertown Winter Farm Show.

Monica Everson, Director of Emergency Services presented "Miles Apart: Minutes Matter - Coordinating Stroke Across the Regions" at the International Stroke Conference in New Orleans last week.

Prairie Lakes has been actively participating in a stroke initiative, Mission: Lifeline Stroke, by the American Heart Association led by Monica to enhance stroke care at Prairie Lakes.

The Watertown Police Department and Watertown Fire Rescue are gearing up for the milestone 25th Annual “Heroes Behind the Badges” blood drive, a friendly competition that saves lives while strengthening community bonds.

Donors will cast their vote for either the Police or Fire Department, with their donation directly supporting patients at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. The winning department earns a traveling trophy and year-long bragging rights.
