Today we wrapped up our Fall Tours with over 60 Northeast Technical High School students!
Over the past six weeks, area juniors and seniors explored what a future in healthcare could look like—getting an inside view of dozens of departments and specialties.
From the Cancer Center and Emergency Room to Pharmacy, Dialysis, Surgical Services, Maternal Child Health, Radiology, Rehab, and many more, these tours showcased the incredible variety of careers available in healthcare.
We’re proud honored to help inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals!

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System was proud to partner with Lake Area Technical College (LATC) to host another successful Explore Camp!
This collaborative camp provided high school students with a comprehensive, hands-on look at the diverse career paths available within our hospital. Participants rotated through various departments, gaining practical experience and insight into the skills required for careers in the cancer center, radiology, pulmonology, emergency services, surgical services, laboratory, nursing, and rehab services!
Thank you to the dedicated staff from both PLHS and LATC who made this valuable educational experience possible.
