Black Friday weekend is coming, and the Den has something set aside for you.

Friday at midnight, the gate opens and the Black Flame is lit.
It’ll burn for three days — steady, sharp, and without apology.
When the weekend ends, the gate shuts, and that flame turns inward to drive the Manticore through the last stretch of the year.

The main temple is shifting again, and the Manticore’s crew is moving with it. I’m no longer running this beast alone — I now have a manager and an assistant helping steer the work so I can stay where I belong: at the forge, hands deep in creation, feeding the current through winter.

Messages still reach me, nothing gets lost, but now there are more hands making sure everything flows the way it should.

And with that — announcement time.

Manticore’s Den will be at the Darkest Night Market in Peabody. The final market of the year, and the very first one I stepped into last winter. A full cycle completed. I’ve shown up for every single market they’ve hosted, made friends, built connections, sharpened my craft, and carried that fire forward.

It’s been a wild, powerful year. I’ve enjoyed every second of it.

And I’m excited — truly — for what’s cooking behind the scenes right now. New works are on the altar, and some of them will be available before the year closes.

Heaven’s flame meets the marrow of the earth, both pulled through will, through command, through pact.
In that crossing, matter remembers its shape, and spirit takes on weight.

The wand becomes the bridge, the hand the storm, the mixture the first breath of what’s to come.

Today marks the birth of Aleister Crowley — The Great Beast 666.
A man whose name became myth, fear, and fascination alike.

The first book I ever received on his work was a gift from my homie from in Galveston — a moment that cracked open the door wider. My eyes were hungry, my spirit restless, and through his words I found a fire that kept pushing me further into the unknown.

Crowley was no saint, no savior — but he was a man who mastered his craft, shattered boundaries, and left behind a system still pulsing through the veins of modern magic.

While I’m no Thelema practitioner, Crowley’s knowledge and pursuit of it was something that stoked the fire of wonder within me — a hunger for truth through experience, not doctrine.

And alike him, I don’t place myself in holy areas to worship, but to understand and learn the hidden knowledge — to practice the dark arts, embracing the whole picture rather than walking beside a handicapped cosmic being.
