✨ Introduction to Ayurveda ✨ w/ Allison Burke
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic wellness system from India that focuses on creating balance in the body + mind through simple daily practices around food, movement + rest.
In this 2-hour workshop, Allison will introduce the fundamentals of Ayurveda including the three doshas, daily routines, seasonal wellness and nutrition. You’ll leave with practical tools you can begin using right away to support balance, energy and overall wellbeing.
This workshop will also include a guided meditation and a gentle yoga component.
✨ Meet your facilitator:
Allison Burke is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and certified yoga instructor who discovered Ayurveda in 2013 after struggling with disordered eating and fad dieting. She was drawn to its core philosophy that each person is unique — there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health.
Blending her Ayurvedic training with her background in yoga, Allison helps people slow down, reconnect with their breath and discover what balance looks like for their own bodies and lives.
