A big thank you to GEAR Parent Network and Coutts Bros for sponsoring our free Film Screening of Inside Out 2 on May 9th! GEAR has sponsored the event at the Parent & Caregiver Champion Level which ensures families can attend this event free of charge.

Coutts became our "Tools for Big Feelings" Sponsor which ensured families and educators will walk away with hands-on tools to recognize, regulate and name emotions.

Thank you!

Don't forget, you can still grab tickets for this event here: https://www.kbhmaine.org/community/film-screening/

Yesterday, members of our Mental Health Awareness Month Film Screening Committee stepped into “Headquarters” at Johnson Hall Opera House for a final walk-through—and let’s just say, all the emotions showed up💛💙💜💚❤️

As we gear up for our May 9 screening of Inside Out 2, every detail is coming together to create a night that’s fun, welcoming, and full of connection.

Jamie Robinson (pictured) and our family engagement team have been hard at work making sure there’s something for everyone—including a photo booth with your favorite characters, an interactive “emotion wall,” tasty concessions, and a few more surprises to spark joy (and maybe a little nostalgia, too).

Haven’t grabbed your tickets yet? There’s still time—and seats are available: https://www.kbhmaine.org/community/film-screening/

Already have your tickets? Amazing. Our “Headquarters” is buzzing—we’re feeling all the emotions (mostly the good ones, with a side of anxiety, because we are anxiously awaiting your arrival) and we and can’t wait to welcome you in🎬

When safety nets unravel, people don’t just lose services—they lose stability.

Recent disruptions have left many Maine families unsure how they’ll pay for food, housing, or medication. For some, those supports were the only thing standing between stability and crisis.

At Kennebec Behavioral Health, we are seeing the impact every day. People come to us not just for therapy or medication—but for help holding their lives together. Our teams step in quickly, connecting individuals to housing supports, employment resources, crisis services, and care coordination when every hour matters.

Your gift to our year-end appeal ensures we are ready—when systems fail and neighbors need immediate support—to help people move from crisis to stability, and from stability to hope.
