Outpatient services previously offered at KBH's 66 Stone Street location have moved to 10 Caldwell Road in Augusta. 10 Caldwell is just down the street from 66 Stone and across from KBH's Augusta med clinic at 11 Caldwell.

KBH decided to make this move to have all Augusta outpatient services located in one building. Clients have been notified but can reach out to the front desk for questions.

This move only affects clients previously receiving outpatient services at 66 Stone Street.

We've got more staff in purple for ! KBH also launched a staff challenge: "Tag! You're It!"

During the month of November, staff are asked to do an act of kindness and to give this card to the recipient. Then that staff person is encouraged to keep the acts of kindness going! What will your act of kindness be?

Did you know that today is World Kindness Day? Acts of kindness can bring positivity, comfort, and compassion to someone’s day and you could be the reason for that! Here are some ideas for participating in World Kindness Day and beyond by performing random acts of kindness.

7 Ways to Start Making Kindness the Norm in Your Daily Life
Random Acts of Kindness Foundation

• Send a surprise voice note (instead of a regular text).
• Compliment three strangers.
• Be a ‘life lifter’ by taking something off someone’s plate.
• Let them merge into traffic.
• Share gratitude ‘shout outs’ on social media.
• Leave sticky notes with inspirational messages in public areas.
• Do something to intentionally make yourself smile.

And remember to make kindness the norm!

KBH is excited to share that our KBH Food Cupboards are now set up and ready to serve clients! Thanks to the generosity of many staff members, we’ve already received wonderful donations — thank you!

Over the last few weeks, KBH staff took the initiative to find a way to support our clients and staff struggling with food insecurity. With the help of our Connections Team and leadership, KBH has launched internal food cupboards for November and December. Any client or staff can utilize this resource.

Food cupboard locations:
Skowhegan Clinic
Waterville Clinic
Farmington Clinic
Augusta: 66 Stone Street. Please note: 66 Stone is also serving 10 and 11 Caldwell sites.

Clients can now visit any of these sites during regular clinic hours to access the food cupboards. In Augusta, clients are encouraged to go to 66 Stone Street.

When visiting, clients will be provided a bag and invited to fill it with the items they want or need. Information about local food banks, soup kitchens, and other community resources is also available.

Yesterday, KBH hosted its first insider briefing with community stakeholders in Augusta. Pat McKenzie, KBH's chief clinical development officer, and Amber Kruk, KBH's director of development and community engagement, discussed the need and impact of our School-Based, Tele-Counseling model.

Thank you to everyone who attended! We had some wonderful conversations about partnerships, resources, and how this model can truly make a difference in students' lives.

What are your thoughts on the impact of tele-counseling? Share your ideas for partnerships or resources in the comments!
