😩 If you’ve noticed more breakouts around the holidays, you’re not imagining it.

Here’s what’s happening:

1) Sugar spikes insulin levels, which can increase oil production and inflammation, both big triggers for breakouts.

2) Stress raises cortisol, which also ramps up oil production and slows healing. Plus, it can throw off your sleep, hormones, and skincare routine.

3) Add in travel, makeup, late nights, and extra indulgence, and your skin barrier takes a hit, making it easier for breakouts to happen and harder for them to clear.
