Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance (PVPSA) is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing education, training, counseling and prevention services to students, families and staff in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District. By helping prevent criminal behavior, gang involvement, truancy, and drug, alcohol and tobacco use, PVPSA improves the quality of life in our community and its schools.

We’re proud to share that Jasmine Nájera, CEO of PVPSA, had the honor of presenting on a cross-sector panel of leaders and facilitating a panel of local youth diversion staff and experts at the United Way Children’s Network Symposium. PVPSA is proud to partner with the Watsonville Police Department on Caminos Hacia el Éxito and with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education on Project ASCEND as we work together to support youth through strong, collaborative diversion efforts.
