I have had extensive work and too much experience with damage. My teeth were so bad after my last crash, though I must live a charmed life. I was so badly treated by others, I had to ask my most trusted source. I asked for him to X-ray and refer. He had already given me Dr. Carin, and his highest marks, on the phone. I wanted to make certain.
After a horrible experience at two other dentists, including one whose office I had been going to for 20 years. Dr. Carin did in two visits what 4 others had told me would take many months. In fact, one Santa Cruz Dentist, had given me a quote so high, I was in shock, and I'm used to high prices. Yet he wanted to change my whole bite. Dr. Carin is the very best!
Let me tell you first, my teeth were missing or cracked in front. I had traveled to the UK and then to visit the Government of Ghana on business and had to present myself with such badly cracked teeth, it was distracting. They needed me immediately so I went. I needed the revenue. I expected a quote 4 or 5 times what Dr. Carin did. I want to tell you as well, I have such aversion to dentistry, I was given to anxiety. No more!
What Dr. Carin did was beyond any work done before. The pricing is more than fair! This is a man who has a passion and a gift with his work. If I knew about him when I was being tortured up in Walnut Creek, I would've insisted on the 3 hour ride. He is worth the distance. One can pay easily 4 to 5 times what rates Dr. Carin has, and still have discomfort. I speak from experience.
His humorous nickname, Chip, is as endearing as his personality. Dr. Chip Carin, always the resolute professional, is as personable as you may wish. He reads people very well, because this man cares. You will the whole staff cares very much. Kindness is their way.
The people in Dr. Carin's office, such that they all are so obviously happy and organized, like family, which speaks highly of Dr. Carin's ability to choose and work with the best people. Always positive and somehow, comforting to greet, the whole staff in all of their functions, are excellent, and very very kind. That is also a reflection of who Dr. Carin is as a human being and a professional. I read people very well, as that is part of my work.
There is another aspect of Dr. Carin that has to be mentioned. That Dr. Carin has gone beyond borders, as we say, to under served regions with challenging conditions and given of himself so generously, his cause so obvious, his humanity, I do not take for granted. When I meet such a man as Dr. Carin, it always strikes me how rare a person he is. That gift and his drive to do the best action, that works for the patient; that is something more than work. it is the best of human qualities, to help others as he has.
I asked for my front teeth to be restored as fast as practical- faster maybe. I asked! I never expected the amount of work he was able to do, and the quality being the best one can hope for. Not only this, yet as well, he somehow did a massive amount of repairs -challenging repairs... in a way I would have not thought could be done. I had nubs and k***s instead of full teeth. There was left so little to build on.
All this and his has been a painless process, where I am way not used to that! Even a few days after, you know when you are told it won't hurt yet it does- no way! I was told I might be sore, yet I wasn't at all. How is it, I have been through so much and only now, after 20 years in the area, I find Dr. Carin! I am a contracted Underwriter, a Field Agent of mostly Accords and global transactions relating. I have a business trip in two weeks, and this will be the first time in years I will have a full smile. That smile is so precious to the comfort of ourselves and others, such as my own clientele.
Even if you have a ways to ride, I strongly recommend Dr. Manuel Chip Carin. He is worth it for the fine work he does. That is my experience. I have left out the many negatives from the other 4 DDS I had considered. I even changed from my dentist of 20 years, and I will never go back, as long as Dr. Carin will have me. After all, I am the most challenging kind of patient.
Dr. Carin does little if any advertising. I am certain he has a following. Word of mouth can be the best recommendation. To be fair, I am compelled to place my highest marks here, and share. Just please, make sure to leave some Chip for myself and my family! We are prone to risk and repair. I am only a very happy and satisfied patient. I wish I had found Dr. Carin years ago. Yet to have him as my DDS is an honor, and a blessing. Give a call! It's always friendly, even warm. You will be glad that you did. I am not in any way involved in the business, nor do I know anyone in it personally. I went in as referred by my most trusted source.
