In response to the interruption in SNAP benefits this fall, Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands, and Polk is collecting food donations at three locations for the month of November and will deliver these donations to our local food banks.

This fall, our patients aren’t just breathing easier… they’re breathing cozier.

• “Doc, I don’t usually use oxygen… but make it Pumpkin Spice and I’ll take the full 15 liters, please.”

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Elijah, the beloved son of our teammate.

Elijah brought so much light and joy to those around him, and his courage over the past year has inspired us all.

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone in our community for the incredible support you’ve shown Elijah and his family during this challenging time.

Your kind words, gestures, and unwavering encouragement meant the world and helped carry them through.

Here in Highlands County, we know that power outages are possible year-round.
Not having power for a prolonged period could cause your food to go bad.

Throw away:
🚮 Perishable foods like meat, chicken, fish, eggs, & leftovers in your refrigerator after 4 hours without power.
🚮 Foods in your freezer if they have thawed.
