Twenty years ago, Val Schweiger joined our team. Before many of today’s teams and infrastructure were in place, Val stepped in wherever needed and got it done.

Today, Val is a Vice President and Shareholder who knows nearly every captive member and professional partner by name and has the photos (and probably the original board book) to prove just how far we’ve come.

Outside of her career, she loves the outdoors, staying active, and being her grandson’s biggest fan. She pours her heart into everything she does, and always has. 💜

Congratulations on 20 years, Val. ICS would not be what it is today without you.

This year’s Board of Directors Meeting in Grand Cayman was one to remember! From a warm welcome reception to a champagne and ceviche cruise, along with a memorable anniversary dinner, every detail reflected the group’s legacy and momentum.

Earlier this month, Abby Zipoy and Casey Claypool represented our team at the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) Conference in Milwaukee — an inspiring event that brings together employee owners, advisors, and industry leaders to strengthen and evolve the Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) community.

Abby also co‑presented alongside Pim Jager of Scott Insurance, walking ESOP employees through OWN Health, our captive insurance program built exclusively for ESOP companies.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration says large trucks “are overrepresented in fatal work zone crashes.”
