My patience is wearing thin
I don't know, should I give up again
What once was sort of fun

It smells sickly sweet
And like don't worry it'll only be a 15 minute meet
90 minutes of time went by
Welp, this day won't be dry
Day drinking is fine right
It's the only way that ton starts to feel light
Coping is the new sport I play
Whatever will get me through the day
A smoke here, a drink there
Until I can sleep without a care
And then wake up on the morrow
And relive the same sorrow

Sometimes you just need "to dance with somebody" or cuddle or help out a stranger. Not stay by yourself. The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan had an interesting take on pain, which I view as similar to stress. Because your body is going through something. Embrace it. Don't hide from it. Don't try to minimalize it. Accept it. Take the energy and channel it.

Stress expert Rebecca Heiss says that the advice we so often get about how to relieve stress is 'completely wrong.' If you want to feel better, rather than turning inward, think about how you can contribute to your community instead.

Learning to trust your intuition is very difficult! It's like am I just going crazy, why do I hear thoughts just come in my head, or why am I being dragged kicking and screaming in this direction? Well that's your guides and intuition talking. We don't always have awareness of higher plans for ourselves. So those little niggling feelings are to help guide us towards that purpose. Train your brain. It helps.

How's everyone's Saturday? It's been a damn roller coaster up in here. Adjusting to a new phone, trying to figure out the Pixel platform vs Apple. Three readings almost back to back. Verizon having an outage in the Midwest so my phone doesn't work unless it's on wifi. Almost running out of meds and pleading to the pharmacist to get me the good stuff.
