On November 19, 2025, we shared exciting news about Aeroterra Health, a new nonprofit health care utility created by leading medical transport organizations across the country — including Flight For Life.

Today, that vision is accelerating. Aeroterra Health brings together nonprofit partners to solve longstanding challenges in medical transport through shared resources, comprehensive collaboration, and a commitment to advancing safety, sustainability, and access for the communities we serve.

This alliance represents a major step forward for the future of emergency medical transport — and we’re proud to be part of it.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Chief Alan Babe. Chief Babe was a driving force behind the opening of the Flight For Life base in Burlington and a true advocate for emergency services in our region. His dedication to his community, his leadership, and his unwavering support of our mission made a lasting impact on all of us and we sincerely thank him.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the honor of working alongside him.

Rest in peace, Chief Babe. You will be missed.
