Sad news...Bill Talbot passed away peacefully on 11/29/25 with his family by his side. Bill was a legend in the plastics industry and an expert in his field. I was fortunate to work with Bill for 12+ years via Concor Tool & Machine. He will be missed. The Talbot family reassured all that Concor is stable, strong and will continue to own and operate the business 'as is' indefinitely. I've attached the obituary for additional details. RIP Bill Talbot.

Looking for ways to reduce cleanup time for molds going into short or long-term storage? Many anti-rust compounds can be a source of oils and solvents that could cause unwanted bleed-out. SLIDE’s Mold Shield Rust Preventive (No. 429) may be the very solution you need. The formula is ideal for overnight protection, and Mold Shield is even self-cleaning during startup.
The extra-dry spray composite delivers a dry mist that will not pe*****te moving mold parts such as ejector pin sleeves, slides and cams. That aspect alone would be a game changer, but this aerosol also seals out moisture and shields tool steel surfaces from deterioration including oxidation and pitting. Consequently, Mold Shield will not bleed out and mark parts when the mold is put back into production.
SLIDE also offers a similar variety with a red indicator dye added – SLIDE Quick RP ( ). This product safeguards up to two years under normal indoor storage conditions.
