We’re grateful for the Waukesha State Bank employees who have been volunteering with Community Smiles Dental for the past two years. Giving back is a core part of their values, and their team embraces every opportunity to make a positive difference for people and businesses in our community.

Waukesha State Bank has supported Community Smiles Dental since our founding through sponsorships and donations, and their downtown Waukesha retail staff began volunteering as another meaningful way to help our community thrive. We’re so proud to spotlight our partnership with Marquette University School of Dentistry. As an established external rotation site, we provide D2 and D4 students with hands-on experience in treating patients with special healthcare needs and gaining insight into community-focused dental care.
Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Nora, a D4 extern at our Waukesha Clinic. Over her three-week rotation, she provided direct patient care under the guidance of our CSD preceptors, contributing to our mission of expanding access to dental care for children and families. We’re thrilled we could share this externship journey with her. Nora is graduating in May and hopes to work in pediatric dentistry or care for patients with special health needs. She is going to do amazing things and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes.
