Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours! Today and every day we are thankful for patients and their loved ones who have walked through our door to make appointments, ask questions or to say hello. I believe that I truly have the BEST patients and their loved ones and it is a privilege to work with each and every one of you. We're also grateful for those that have liked or shared a post, have attended any of our open house events, or have told others about Driftless Audiology. Thanksgiving week hours. Normal hours today and tomorrow: 9am to 3pm. This Wednesday the office will be open from 9am-1pm. I have one to two appointments available yet Tuesday and Wednesday. Fall reminds us that change can be beautiful. As leaves turn and seasons shift, nature gently shows us that letting go of old habits, fears, or uncertainties can lead to something better.
Trying hearing aids for the first time can feel like a big change. 🦻
But what if that change brought clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection with the people you love? As uncomfortable as it can be, it’s important to remember:
✨ There is beauty in embracing something new.
✨ There is power in hearing life fully again.
If you’ve been holding back because of fear or discomfort, maybe this season is your sign to let go and step into something better for yourself. Follow the advice of the leaves! 🍂

Thank you to all who stopped during Trick or Treating! We loved seeing all the costumes 🎃

Something spooky is going on in the office today from 4-6pm. The candy passer-outers have the candy bucket ready to go and the music turned up!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We're hoping all the littles are enjoying their day off from school today. Come see us this evening, along with other local businesses, for Trick or Treating from 4-6pm. Good Sam Trick or Treating is from 3-5pm. Make your day a Spooky One sprinkled with sugar!

Get the use out of your Halloween costumes this year! Trick or Treat at local businesses Friday and city-wide on Saturday. A young gentleman told me last week at Wine with the Witches that we had the best selection of Halloween candy! Don’t forget to stop at Good Sam as well. They are starting Trick or Treating at 3pm.

This FRIDAY NIGHT {𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐍} local businesses will be hosting trick or treating from 4pm-6pm.

Any other businesses that would like to participate, just reach out and I will update the post!

October is not only Audiology Awareness Month, it’s also recognized by the National Institutes of Health as National Protect Your Hearing Month!
As you probably know, exposure to loud sounds can cause permanent hearing damage in just a matter of minutes. However, a lot of my patients don’t know that moderately loud noise exposure for a long period of time can also cause just as much damage!
For example, environments as loud as a hairdryer or vacuum cleaner, if exposed over 8 hours per day, can cause hearing loss. These aren’t instantly damaging, but daily, extended exposure without hearing protection can cause permanent hearing loss over time, especially in kids, teens, and people working in noisy environments.
The good news: protecting your ears doesn’t have to be complicated. Simple steps like wearing earplugs when using power tools, mowing the lawn, or attending a concert can go a long way in preserving your hearing!

Sweep into Driftless Audiology for a sweet treat, a chance to spin the wheel for a prize, and see what providers see when they look in your ear!

Our door has been open for a little over a year now! Thank you to anyone who has scheduled an appointment, shared or liked a post.
