March 2nd celebrates 10 years since we opened the doors at 5 Koshas Yoga & Wellness!

We appreciate YOU. We couldn’t do this without your interest in and participation in our programs and services. We have weathered some challenging times over the last 10 years, but the difficulties have challenged us to use the ancient teachings to lean into what’s relevant and helpful today.

An incredibly special thank you to the teachers and practitioners who bring their expertise and experience into the studio on a weekly basis. Several of our teachers have been with us since year 1 (Bill Miller, Pauline Zweck, Mary Kluz, Jamie Sparling, Anna Nummelin). Rachel Miller’s BE Massage was one of the first group of wellness practitioners to join us at 5 Koshas. We’ve welcomed so many additional talented teachers and wellness practitioners into the studio since the start as they help us expand the range of services.

Karey and Sue keep everything going behind the scenes and we couldn’t do it without them. Their service-minded attitudes and talent are so appreciated.

The Wausau area healthcare community earns a special thank you for their referrals and continued trust in our ability to serve every person who walks through the door. We are grateful for the collaboration with community organizations and businesses to make our services accessible to more people.

Weekly classes, workshops, retreats, class series, private sessions, video-on-demand, yoga teacher training, and continuing education programs form the foundation of our services today. Our mission remains the same – cultivating and growing services and opportunities that promote health, healing, and personal transformation for individuals and our community.

We will be sharing photos, your feedback, and special anniversary specials throughout the year to celebrate this milestone.

With Gratitude,
Andrew, Jay, Heather, Mary

I join Sequence Wiz this week to talk about taking care of yourself as a teacher and Yoga Therapist.

The ability to hold the space for clients who have experienced trauma requires the ability to take care of yourself and continue to refine your understanding of suffering and how to come out of suffering.
