If you are thinking about seeing a chiropractor you may want to check out the old guy. Yep, that's me. Think about it; I have been in practice for 33 years and racked up over 1,100 continuing education hours and have earned certifications in Sports Rehab, Neurology, Concussion Management, and I am a Certified Medical Examiner for Department of Transportation. You can't go wrong with experience.

Hi everybody. Just a quick note that I AM STILL HERE! Apparently there is a rumor going around that I am ready to retire. Nope. That is the other Dr. Williams (from Stryker). Dr. Gary Williams did retire a few months ago.

Update: unfortunately the number of cases has ramped up in the state of Ohio. Some of my patient's have asked if there is anything nutritionally that can help. In fact there is and I will pass on the CDC recommendations. Vitamin D has been shown to boost the immune system. BE CAREFUL! This is a fat soluble vitamin and can be toxic in excess amounts. No more than 5000 IU's taken with a fat containing meal every other day.

I had a patient ask me today, "So what does a chiropractic neurologist do?" Good question! We have advanced training in evaluating and treating conditions of the central nervous system...most notably the brain. For the sake of brevity I will give just one example: vertigo/dizziness. A condition often "treated" by simply handing a patient a piece of paper with instructions for the Epley maneuver or Brandt-Daroff exercise. Often times this prescription is given based merely on symptoms with little or no examination leading to a misdiagnosis or one with little specificity. Chiropractic neurologists have advanced training to accurately diagnose these conditions and subsequently render treatment that will more likely be successful.
