Wautoma Freemasons Turn Car Show Success into Life-Saving Donation
WAUTOMA, Wis. — The annual Wautoma Father’s Day Car Show, hosted by the Wautoma Freemasons, once again proved to be more than just a celebration of classic cars and community spirit, it became an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Thanks to the success of the 2025 event, the Wautoma Freemasons donated 33 “Control the Bleed” kits to the Wautoma Area School District, helping ensure that students, staff, and visitors are better prepared in the event of an emergency. The kits were purchased through Guardian CPR, a provider of emergency preparedness and life-saving training equipment.
“Control the Bleed” kits are designed to provide immediate assistance in situations involving severe bleeding, equipping everyday citizens with the tools needed to potentially save lives before first responders arrive.
Representatives from the Wautoma Masonic Lodge gathered for the presentation, underscoring the organization’s commitment to community service. The Father’s Day Car Show has become a staple event in Wautoma, drawing car enthusiasts and families from across the region. Beyond showcasing vintage and custom vehicles, the event serves a greater purpose, raising funds to support local initiatives like this one.
“This is what it’s all about,” car show organizer Adam Rigden shared. “Bringing people together for a great day and then turning that support into something that benefits the entire community.”
With the addition of these kits, the Wautoma Area School District joins a growing number of schools nationwide taking proactive steps toward emergency preparedness, thanks in part to the dedication and generosity of local organizations like the Wautoma Freemasons.
