Wauwatosa women who run 👋

I’m out dropping flyers for our upcoming Women’s Runner Night at Troquet.

Wine, desserts, and a conversation about the injuries that tend to show up when training ramps up.

Tag your running buddy and come hang out with us.

Sometimes patients say it better than I ever could.

Nathan recently left this review after dealing with SI joint issues for years and seeing many providers along the way, including trips to Chicago and the Mayo Clinic.

I’m grateful he trusted me with his care and took the time to share this. Reviews like this mean a lot.

Just finished filming The Morning Blend talking about running injuries.

One of the biggest myths I see as a sports chiropractor is runners blaming their shoes when something starts hurting.

Most injuries actually start with small movement problems long before the pain shows up.

That’s exactly what I’ll be teaching at the Women’s Running Masterclass this month in Wauwatosa.

Wine, French desserts from Troquet, and practical tools runners can actually use.

stepped in a hole at mile 7 of the Disney Princess Half Marathon and thought I broke my ankle.

And the crazy part?

I still finished the race.
My last mile was the fastest mile of the entire run.
And I wasn’t even sore the next day.

Here’s the context…

I barely trained for this race. My longest run beforehand was just over 7 miles and I hadn’t run that distance since 2023.

I used the run-walk method in honor of Jeff Galloway after he recently passed. It kept me steady the whole race.

Then at mile 7 I hit a massive hole in the road.

For a second I honestly thought the race was over.

But after working so much on foot strength and mechanics, I slowed down, reset, and kept going.

And that’s exactly why I’m hosting this Women’s Running Masterclass.

Because the same injuries show up over and over in runners… and most of them are preventable.

We all think the answer is just more miles or lifting heavier in the gym.

But a lot of it comes down to small things that start from the ground up - literally your feet.

If you’re a woman who runs (or wants to start again), come hang out with us.

Wine, dessert, and learning how to train smarter so running actually feels good. LINK is obviously in BIO. 😘

One thing I notice over and over with runners isn’t sudden injury.

It’s the phase where nothing is clearly wrong, but something doesn’t feel quite right anymore.

The body usually gives signals long before pain forces a stop.

Learning to recognize those early whispers is one of the biggest shifts that helps runners stay consistent long term.

We’ll be talking about this at the Train Smart Social on March 24th.

Details in link in bio.

Women deserve better advice than “just run more miles.”

At Train Smart Social, we’re talking about the things runners usually learn the hard way:

• Why your feet matter more than your shoes
• The mobility most runners are missing (ankles + big toe)
• How hips and Q-angle influence knee pain
• What actually keeps runners healthy for the long run

And because running should be fun, we’re pairing the evening with wine and French patisserie at Troquet.

Think of it as a girls’ night for runners who want to train smarter.

If you’ve been running long enough, you probably know the phase where nothing is technically injured… but something just doesn’t feel quite right anymore.

That’s often where injuries actually begin.

The Train Smart Social is a small evening designed for women who run and want to understand those early signals before they turn into setbacks.

We’ll talk about how the body adapts to running, how feet and hips work together, and the movement patterns that quietly lead to the aches most runners eventually experience.

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a relaxed night to learn the things most runners were never taught.

Wine, French pastries, and good conversation included.

Pre-race Disney day ✔️
Rides, babies, chaos, and somehow tomorrow I run a half marathon 👑

Not perfectly trained.
Not perfectly rested.
But very grateful to be here doing something I love with the people I love most.

Princess Half tomorrow… let’s see what a little magic can do ✨

Working on something new for women runners tonight ✨
I’ve had so many conversations lately with runners who feel stuck between “I want to run more” and “my body isn’t loving it right now.”
So I’m building a small, relaxed night to talk about how running actually works from the ground up - feet, hips, strength, recovery, and all the things nobody really explains.
Wine, desserts, and smart running conversations included.
More soon 🤍
