Completed a new and AMAZING Counterstrain course this weekend. This class addressed the “periosteum” ie. bone. What does this mean? In addition to other Counterstrain classes I’ve taken, I can now add the following symptoms to the extensive list of conditions I can treat. * Chronic pain localized to the site or associated joint (eg spine and SI pain)
* Osseous torsions/asymmetries - creates abnormal joint mechanics (DDD, DJD spine and extremities)
* Leg length discrepancies
* Limited foot and ankle mobility with deformities and pain
* Limited wrist and forearm mobility and associated chronic pain. Trigger finger.
* All forms of tendinitis
* Weakness/inhibition of muscles
* Scoliosis/spinal curvatures
* Rib torsions and subsequent impact on the sympathetic chain
* Autonomic Impact/dysfunction related to hand and foot dysfunction
* Central sensitization
