The St. Camillus Intergenerational Mobility Program is changing how we think about aging, ability, and connection. This innovative pilot program pairs older adults with college students from Marquette University and Wisconsin Lutheran College to promote physical wellness, communication, and confidence through personalized athletic training. Participants are moving better, feeling stronger, and reconnecting with purpose — proving that growth has no age limit.

We’re now seeking grant partnerships to help bring this transformative program fully to life and expand its reach to more individuals, including those affected by memory loss.

A huge shoutout to our believers —Christopher Simenz at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin who took the first leap of faith, along with Rachel Kuhl, Laura Rooney, and every student past and present who has made this vision possible — the dreamers and changemakers redefining strength across generations.

Another successful Independent Living operational meeting in the books! It was a full and meaningful meeting — we took care of important business, officially welcomed our new Vice President of Operations, Andrea Ohman, with coffee and cookies, and shared a heartfelt tribute (be sure to turn up your volume) to our Veterans, led beautifully by Chaplain Jackie.

Some of our Assisted Living residents recently took a trip to Krispy Kreme! They watched donut holes travel down the assembly line, sipped on warm coffee, and of course, enjoyed plenty of sweet treats along the way. Delicious donuts and good company—a recipe for happiness.
