24 years ago I started on a career path I knew NOTHING about. Long story short, I’ve been an RDA for 24 years. To say I have grown, learned a TON and LOVED this job as a Dental Assistant is an understatement. I love people and I love to care for them. It fills my bucket. 🪣
Life can throw twists & turns at you and sometimes God throws open a door you didn’t even know existed. I feel God is leading me down a new path of patient care. I have accepted a position with Taylor Physical Therapy and will join their team this fall. This is both a scary adventure and an exciting one. WFD 🦷 has been my heart & soul for 20+ years. I wholeheartedly LOVE this office and Team. Dr Young has been way more than my boss, he & Jody are my friends! And they have all been my family!!
This has been a very difficult decision. I have grown to love and care about ALL of my patients, have gotten to know their families and been apart of their lives. 🥰 I will miss this immensely!! But, this isn’t goodbye, hopefully I’ll just see you at a different office or out in the community. I also hope to fill in occasionally.
To my teammates….you have no idea how much I treasure our friendship! ❣️ You make coming to work everyday feel like a fun day off!! The laughs and shenanigans will be a huge void I’ll miss.
To Dr Young, thank you for mentoring me, teaching me, pushing me out of my comfort zone and putting up with me for over 2 decades. You helped my family get through the worst time in my life with care, compassion and understanding. I will be forever grateful.
I’ll be around for a few more weeks, so be sure & say hi if you see me in the office!! Waverly Family Dentistry is better than the BEST!!!! Onto the next chapter God has written for me with Taylor Physical Therapy.
