Your Health. Our Mission.
Your Voice.
At Valley View Health Centers, a program of the Community Action Committee of Pike County, our mission is simple: to provide access to affordable, high-quality, integrated health care for all.

Right now, Congress is making an important decision that could directly impact the care you and your family receive at Valley View Health Centers.

A new bipartisan bill has been introduced that would increase funding for Community Health Centers like ours, strengthen the health care workforce, and protect telehealth services, which are especially important in rural communities like ours.

Why this matters to you and your family:

✔ Keeps Valley View Health Centers strong and accessible
This bill includes the largest funding increase for Community Health Centers in more than 10 years. This funding helps health centers stay open, expand services, and continue caring for patients close to home.

✔ Helps bring and keep doctors and nurses in our community
The legislation supports programs that help recruit and retain providers in rural and underserved areas—so patients can get appointments when they need them.

✔ Protects telehealth services
Telehealth allows patients to see a provider by phone or video. This is especially helpful for patients with transportation challenges, busy work schedules, or health conditions that make travel difficult.

✔ Protects affordable care for everyone
Valley View Health Centers serve patients regardless of insurance status. This funding helps ensure care remains affordable and available for our neighbors, friends, and families.

How you can help right now:
📞 Call your Members of Congress and ask them to VOTE YES for Community Health Center funding.

✉️ Write your Members of Congress and ask them to VOTE YES.

Your voice makes a difference. When patients and community members speak up, lawmakers listen. With a January 30 deadline quickly approaching, now is the time to act.

By taking a few minutes to speak up, you are helping protect health care access in Pike County and the surrounding communities—today and for future generations.

Please join Valley View Health Centers and the Community Action Committee of Pike County in standing up for community health.

🚨 Community Health Centers Need Your Help — Act Now! 🚨
Federal funding for Community Health Centers (CHCs) is set to expire on January 30, 2026. If Congress does not act, millions of people could lose access to affordable, local healthcare.

Community Health Centers serve 52 million patients every year at more than 17,000 locations across the country. That includes:
👩‍⚕️ 1 in 5 rural Americans
🧑‍⚕️ 1 in 3 people living in poverty
👨‍⚕️ 1 in 5 uninsured individuals
👩‍⚕️Overall, 1 in 7 Americans relies on a CHC for care, including more than 15,000 individuals in our local communities.

CHCs provide primary care, preventive services, behavioral health, and more—regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. They are a lifeline for families, seniors, veterans, and workers in our communities.

Right now, CHC funding is only temporarily covered under a short-term government extension. Congress must pass long-term funding to protect patient access and keep health centers open.

👉 TAKE ACTION TODAY
Please contact your members of Congress and urge them to support stable funding for Community Health Centers, including:
❗️At least $5.8 billion per year for CHCs (for two years)
❗️$950 million per year for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC)
❗️$2.1 billion over five years for the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) program
