Today, a patient shared a prayer of gratitude that stopped me in my tracks - a reminder that thankfulness isn’t reserved for when life feels easy, but especially when the path is uncertain. 🙏 Gratitude and faith don’t just change how we feel - they change how we heal. Studies show that patients who nurture hope and spiritual connection often experience lower pain intensity, better coping, and improved overall well-being (Koenig, 2012; Wachholtz & Pargament, 2005).

I have seen firsthand those who remain positive, uplifting, and anchored in their faith truly live more with less pain. 🌅
