Daniel Fast with me January 19th - 29th 🥭

The Daniel Fast is a spiritually motivated, plant-based partial fast based on the biblical experiences of the prophet Daniel. Unlike a total fast (abstaining from all food), this is a 10-day "cleanse" (normally 21-day fast) where you restrict your diet to simple, whole foods to focus on prayer and spiritual growth. 💛

I know a lot of you are preparing for your fast starting in January. Whenever, my church calls a corporate fast; I always do the Daniel’s Fast until my body is totally healed from diabetes. I highly recommend it if you are someone who is dealing with any medical conditions in the body. 💛

To fast for the New Year using the Daniel Fast, you are essentially committing to a "partial fast." Instead of giving up all food, you restrict your diet to plant-based, whole foods—much like the prophet Daniel did in the Bible when he refused the king’s "choice food" to remain consecrated to God.
​Most people perform this for 21 days, starting in early January. 💛

Here's a prayer for you: ​"Lord, as I begin this Daniel Fast, I consecrate my body and mind to You. Let this small sacrifice of food lead to a great harvest of spiritual fruit in my life this year. Open my ears to hear Your voice clearly as I enter 2026. Amen!" 🙏🏾

Kale 🥬🔥 is hearty, slightly bitter, and deeply satisfying—thick leaves with a firm texture and bold green flavor. Every bite delivers substance and freshness. A robust favorite often enjoyed sautéed, baked, or in salads.

Bell Pepper 🫑 is crisp, juicy, and naturally sweet—brightly colored peppers with a refreshing crunch. Each bite adds color and vibrant flavor. A versatile vegetable that shines raw or cooked.

Protein Power Bowl with Chicken, Eggs & Steamed Veggies 🥗🥚🍗

This bowl is pure fuel. Juicy herbed chicken breast, tender steamed broccoli and cauliflower, sweet carrots, fresh leafy greens, and whole hard-boiled eggs for extra protein. It’s balanced, satisfying, and ideal for clean eating, fat loss, or muscle recovery.

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

1 chicken breast, cooked and sliced

2 hard-boiled eggs

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup cauliflower florets

½ cup sliced carrots

Mixed leafy greens

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt, black pepper & dried herbs (oregano or mixed herbs)

𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and herbs; grill or pan-sear until golden and cooked through. Slice into pieces.

Steam broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots until tender but vibrant.

Boil eggs for 9–10 minutes, cool, and peel.

Arrange leafy greens as the base of the bowl.

Add sliced chicken, steamed vegetables, and whole eggs on top.

Drizzle lightly with olive oil and season to taste.

Serve warm or chilled—perfect for meal prep. 🥭
