Introducing Daymark Dwelling

At Daymark Living, residents are supported through every stage of life.

Our new Daymark Dwelling program offers a quieter environment with more individualized support for residents who may benefit from additional assistance — all while remaining part of the Daymark community they love.

March was one for the books at Daymark! 🌷✨

From celebrating Spirit Week with fun themes and big smiles, to cheering on the start of Miracle League baseball season, this month was full of energy, excitement, and community spirit! ⚾💙

We felt the luck of the Irish during our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations 🍀 and welcomed the new season by planting flowers and getting ready for spring—because nothing says fresh beginnings like time spent outdoors together. 🌼🌱

World Down Syndrome Day 💛💙

Today we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness, celebrating abilities, and honoring the incredible individuals who make our world brighter every day.

At Daymark Living, we are proud to support and celebrate residents of all abilities. Our community is built on friendship, encouragement, and opportunities for every individual to grow, learn, and live life to the fullest.

World Down Syndrome Day is recognized on March 21 (3/21) to represent the three copies of the 21st chromosome that people with Down syndrome have. Many people celebrate by wearing bright, colorful, or mismatched socks to start conversations and show support. 🧦✨

Today and every day, we celebrate the unique talents, personalities, and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome and the joy they bring to our community.

Mondays with Molly: Introducing Daymark Dwelling

On this episode of Mondays with Molly, Dr. Molly sits down with Dee to talk about an exciting new program at Daymark Living — Daymark Dwelling.

Daymark Dwelling was created to provide a community within the Daymark community, designed for residents who may benefit from a little more individualized attention, additional staff support, and a quieter environment.

For some residents, that means:

• More one-on-one support
• Help with daily living activities
• A smaller, less overstimulating environment
• Continued opportunities for fun, outings, and connection

Dee shares what she loves most about living in Daymark Dwelling — including fun activities, outings to the park, and even golf cart rides around campus.

One of their recent outings included a trip to the park where they enjoyed swinging — something Dr. Molly explains can help regulate the vestibular system and help people feel calm and centered.

Daymark Dwelling also creates an important opportunity for residents who may need additional support as they age, allowing them to remain part of the Daymark community they love.

✨ It’s just another way Daymark continues to meet residents where they are and support them through every stage of life.

Adventure Awaits at Daymark! 🎉

Our residents have some exciting upcoming excursions planned, and we can’t wait to share the fun! From exploring the Dallas Zoo and bowling at Alley Cats to cheering on the Texas Rangers at 5 different games this season, there are lots of adventures ahead. ⚾🎳🦁

And that’s not all… residents will also enjoy incredible theater experiences with Wicked and Hamilton! 🎭✨

At Daymark, getting out into the community, trying new things, and making memories with friends is all part of the experience.
