It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Roberta Medlock of Waycross, Ga. Mrs. Medlock was born on January 8, 1951, and passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 74.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Waycross, Ga. A public viewing will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Harrington Family Chapel.

🎃 Trunk-or-Treat 2025 was a blast! 👻
Waycross, Homerville, and Folkston we truly enjoyed spending time with everyone and being part of this year’s community fun. We had a great time laughing, passing out candy, and connecting with so many familiar faces.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Herman Malone of Homerville, Ga. Mr. Malone was born on July 12, 1943, and passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 82.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Homerville, Ga. A public viewing will be held prior to the service from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

After a recent service for one of our smallest angels, our team jumped right in to finish the job with love and care. Suits, ties, dresses, heels — didn’t matter! We all got a little dirt on our hands that day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 👠💪🏾

Mrs. Rhoaden Anderson, 86, of Nahunta, Georgia passed away October 23, 2025, at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta, Georgia. Mrs. Anderson was born on March 19, 1939, in Bryan County Georgia to the late Mr. Charlie Baker and Mrs. Margaret Walthour Baker. She received her education at Brantley County School System. She later moved to Philadelphia, PA, where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. She worked in Philadelphia until she decided to move back home in 2003. She joined Nesby Chapel United Methodist Church and was a faithful member until her health failed and she could no longer attend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers: Frank Baker, Will Baker, and Samuel Baker; three sisters: Charlie Mae, Edith, and Erma.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter Mercedes Butler of Redding, PA; Sibling: Leslie Baker of Jacksonville, Fl; Grandchildren: Keasha (Eric) Davis of Redding,
PA and Edward Nelson of Philadelphia, PA; Great-Grandchildren: Shafi Nelson of Philadelphia, PA, Pilate Davis and Eric Davis Jr of Redding, PA; two special nieces Deborah Baker and Angela Robinson of Nahunta, GA; sister-in-law Mildred Baker and
Fannie Baker of Jacksonville, Fl, and Bessie Cohen of Waynesville, GA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

Brother William E. Tate was born on October 24, 1977, to Brother Raphael Tate Sr. and Sister Willie Ruth Burse Tate in Newark New Jersey. He is the youngest twin brother of Brother Raphael Tate Jr. He graduated from the Cerebral Palsy Center of West Hudson School in Belleville, New Jersey in 1996. He relocated and moved to Waycross, Georgia in 2000.

William’s life has been a true testament of Love. How to love and how to be loved. His parents and family demonstrated their love from birth to this 48th year and have showered him with love and total exponential care through family professional and other professional services care and they have received from him, a love and an appreciation through his infectious SMILE.

William E. Tate leaves to mourn his death his father Brother Raphael Tate Sr., mother Sister Willie Ruth Burse Tate, Brother Raphael Tate Jr., and Sisters, Ramona Bagley and Ardelia Burse.

Also, William leaves to cherish his memory, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. A Godfather, Easton Frances and Godmother, Shirley Swackard.
