I'm sure you can imagine how difficult it is to perform blood draws on little babies & children, but our phlebotomists do a FANTASTIC job at creating the most calm and caring environment for our tiny patients. On top of that, their precision and skill in phlebotomy gets the job done as quickly & pain-free as possible for your child! 🫶🏼

We are so grateful for the most compassionate staff around, and that couldn't be more greatly exhibited than through our phlebotomy team! 💌

Pediatric Cold-Weather Tips for Kids! ❄️🩵🌨️

👕 Dress in layers: thin base layer + warm middle layer + waterproof outer layer
🧤 Don’t skip hats & mittens: kids lose heat fastest from head and hands
🤫 Keep skin protected: use moisturizer and lip balm to prevent dry, cracked skin
🏠 Limit outdoor time in extreme cold: take warm-up breaks inside
🧦 Stay dry: change wet socks, gloves, and clothes right away
💧 Hydration still matters: kids get dehydrated in cold weather too
🥶 Watch for cold stress: pale skin, shivering, numb fingers/toes → go inside

Flu and RSV are common during the winter months and can cause symptoms like cough, runny nose, fever, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Please bring your child into the office if there is high or persistent fever, rapid/labored breathing, isn't drinking well, or just doesn't seem like themselves. 🤕
