I'm sure you can imagine how difficult it is to perform blood draws on little babies & children, but our phlebotomists do a FANTASTIC job at creating the most calm and caring environment for our tiny patients. On top of that, their precision and skill in phlebotomy gets the job done as quickly & pain-free as possible for your child! 🫶🏼

Pediatric Cold-Weather Tips for Kids! ❄️🩵🌨️

👕 Dress in layers: thin base layer + warm middle layer + waterproof outer layer
🧤 Don’t skip hats & mittens: kids lose heat fastest from head and hands
🤫 Keep skin protected: use moisturizer and lip balm to prevent dry, cracked skin
🏠 Limit outdoor time in extreme cold: take warm-up breaks inside
🧦 Stay dry: change wet socks, gloves, and clothes right away
💧 Hydration still matters: kids get dehydrated in cold weather too
🥶 Watch for cold stress: pale skin, shivering, numb fingers/toes → go inside
