Many children show signs of being ready for potty training between ages 18 and 24 months. However, others might not be ready until they're 3 years old. There's no rush.
Here are some signs that your toddler might be ready to potty train.
-Your child shows an interest and desires to learn to use the potty.
-When your child stays dry for two hours or more when awake or wakes up with dry diapers.
-Your child can sit still.
-Your child can follow simple instructions and likes to copy your behavior.
-Your child can pull down his own diapers, training pants, or underwear.
Remember, every kid is different, so don’t stress if they are not ready yet. Start using words like “pee-pee” to familiarize your child with what's happening when you're using the toilet or when you're changing a dirty diaper.
