The Medical Center also offers over 20 unique specialty physician services through the Outpatient Clinic and performs 14,000 procedures annually utilizing Providence’s laboratory, imaging, and surgical services. In addition to these services, PMC is home to several highly specialized behavior health, rehabilitation therapy, and wellness programs. Providence Medical Center employs over 200 individuals, making it one of the largest employers in Wayne and the surrounding area. 📢We are excited to announce that we will be offering comprehensive Audiology and Hearing Aid Services beginning in March. Audiologist, Michael Lazarcyzk, AuD, from Faith Regional Health Services, will begin seeing patients in Wayne on March 4, 2026.

This comprehensive Audiology Service will include a full range of care, including evaluations, hearing aid services, earwax removal, active listening devices, and more.

Michael specializes in treating both adults and children to determine the cause of their hearing loss and help them understand the best treatment options to fit their lifestyle. Whether hearing loss happens suddenly, develops over time, or begins to interfere with your everyday life, our audiologist is here to help. This month's Department of the Month is our Finance and Revenue Cycle Departments!

💲The Finance Department plays a vital role in supporting the hospital’s daily operations and long-term stability. The team manages accounts payable to ensure vendors and partners are paid accurately and on time, and oversees payroll to make sure employees are compensated correctly and promptly. Through careful financial management, the finance department helps maintain smooth operations so our clinical teams can focus on delivering quality patient care.

📋The Revenue Cycle personnel support patients before, during, and after their visits. They are the friendly faces that assist with registration, medical records, insurance, and billing questions. Revenue Cycle keeps information accurate and communication clear, allowing patients to focus on their healing journey.

We welcomed our first baby of the New Year with the birth of a healthy baby boy at 6:49 p.m., on January 18th. Xander Samuel Olvera Cano was delivered by Dr. Melissa Dobbins and weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz and measured 21 inches.

We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming community support in celebrating our New Year's baby with the beautiful gifts that awaited Xander's arrival. We appreciate all of the businesses that continue to come together year after year to welcome our New Year's Baby.

Our warmest congratulations go out to Xander's family on his joyous arrival! 💙
