This week is Respiratory Care Week! 🫁A week that we recognize the contributions of respiratory therapists and raise awareness about respiratory health. Respiratory Therapists assess and treat patients with breathing disorders by conducting physical exams, analyzing blood and tissue samples, and determining appropriate therapy plans. They collaborate with physicians to adjust treatments, manage ventilators and airway devices, respond to emergency situations, and educate patients and families about lung disease and recovery techniques.
