Holy Thursday 2001 was a special day for A Baby's Breath Crisis Pregnancy Centers & Home. It was the 9 mos. to the day of our opening our first center on August 15, 2000. As our family sat down to dinner, I got a call on our crisis line - a mother was deciding whether or not to choose life for her baby. I called our experienced advocate Rita to the center. She prayerfully defended the unborn baby's life. The parents were in an unusual relationship which made the choice especially difficult. The mother did choose life, and that child will be celebrating his/her 25th birthday this year. There have been many stories like these over the last 25 years. So grateful to have the wonderful team that we do, humbly, anonymously working to offer the places where life can be chosen and supported beyond the choice.

A Baby's Breath provides free help to women going through a crisis pregnancy. We are with them through all nine months and beyond. If a mother is without a home, we offer free housing during her pregnancy. Our clients are given their own advocates to help them through each step. They are also partnered with a nurse who helps answer supplemental medical questions and information about their baby. The nurse also leads prenatal classes for clients.

After the delivery, clients are provided free group and individual parenting classes. Our clients are ministered to along the way, and when they are no longer in crisis, they are guided into a situation that allows them to be independent. In addition, we share our Christian faith with our clients by offering free, non-judgmental support.

With each visit, our clients earn baby dollars to spend on items they need to care for their baby.
