We are excited to spotlight Robert Bowden, BS, longtime CLSI volunteer and recipient of our Excellence in Standards Development Award.

Robert is a medical laboratory scientist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His work spans human and veterinary medicine, with contributions in antibiogram development, antimicrobial stewardship, infection control, and diagnostics innovation.

A CLSI volunteer since 2016, Robert is an active member of the Veterinary Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Subcommittee and serves as liaison between the CLSI AST Subcommittee and VAST groups. His leadership and expertise continue to strengthen CLSI’s standards development work.

Join us in celebrating Robert and his dedication to advancing laboratory medicine.
