Last month, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend the ASOPRS / AAO 2025 Meeting in Orlando!
We were proud to represent Morgenstern Medical on the national stage alongside some of the most respected leaders in oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Kenneth Morgenstern was honored with the Presidentโs Award for his four years of leadership within ASOPRS โ recognizing his commitment to advancing innovation, education, and excellence in patient care.
Dr. Narmien Murdock presented our novel research on brow transplantation and facial recognition, contributing to the future of aesthetic and reconstructive techniques.
Dr. Michael Kryshtalskyj and Dr. Morgenstern shared important findings on orbital asymmetry in children with congenital ptosis, helping improve understanding and outcomes for pediatric patients.
We are grateful for the chance to teach, learn, and collaborate with colleagues from around the world.

The Morgenstern Center for Orbital and Facial Plastic Surgery offers a variety of surgical and non-surgical methods of altering facial qualities for its patients. For surgical procedures, the center can provide eyelid surgery, brow, face, midface, neck, and upper facelifts, eyelid reconstruction, facial and orbital fracture repair, thyroid eye disease surgery, and earlobe repair. For non-surgical procedures, we offer our aesthetic suite, which performs dermal fillers and injectables, laser treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, the doctor administered TCA peels, Latisse, waxing, micro needling, cosmelan, and lash enhancements. Some of the procedures are intended to be for reconstructive surgeries, while others are purely cosmetic.
Dr. Morgenstern
The Morgenstern Center has been serving the greater Philadelphia area throughout the last ten years under the careful supervision of Dr. Kenneth E. Morgenstern, MD, FACS. Specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyes and surrounding structures. Dr. Morgensternโs surgical background and extensive subspecialty training in craniofacial, ophthalmological, cosmetic, and oculoplastic surgery make him one of the most highly trained and specialized facial plastic surgeons in the nation. Dr. Morgenstern is known for his keen eye and his commitment to maintaining a natural result, ensuring that you continue to look like you - only more relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated.
A Philadelphia native, Dr. Morgenstern is one of the few surgeons to have advanced certification by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of which there are fewer than 400 in the world. He is also one of only 2 physicians in Pennsylvania to have been given the international Marvin Quickert Award for excellence in research. In addition to his many achievements, Dr. Morgenstern has authored over 20 articles and 5 book chapters and actively lectures both locally and nationally on both reconstructive and cosmetic topics. He remains active in Plastic Surgery research and has patents pending for new therapies to treat ocular side effects of cancer. Dr. Morgenstern currently serves as Secretary of Education for the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, an organization which requires members to be board certified ophthalmologists, having completed rigorous, advanced training in the eyelid, orbit, tear duct system, and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Giacometti
Dr. Giacometti joined The Morgenstern Center in 2014. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. His background includes extensive training in oculofacial and ophthalmological surgery at Yale and The Cullen Eye Institute of Baylor College of Medicine. He continues to actively contribute to his field, educating residents at Wills Eye Hospital and Jefferson University Hospital both in the clinic and the operating room.
Dr. Giacometti is also an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which requires him to be a board-certified ophthalmologist, having completed rigorous, advanced training in the eyelid, orbit, tear duct system, and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Caitlin McGuire:
Caitlin McGuire is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with years of experience in both day spa and medical settings. This experience has led her to combine the best of both worlds, blending her crafted aesthetic touch with the quality and efficacy of advanced medical-grade treatments. She has trained with some of the most prestigious institutions in New York and Philadelphia, including Christine Valmy International and Dermalogica. Caitlin is an active member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists - the only national skincare specialty organization aligned with a medical specialty, plastic surgery.
Caitlin offers a variety of advanced treatments, including facials, chemical peels, lasers, micro needling, Cosmelan, waxing, lash enhancements, lash/brow tinting, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, advanced extraction techniques, lymphatic drainage, acne management, rosacea management, lash lifting (cosmetic and functional), and more.
