The Fascial Counterstrain technique consists of a manual scanning technique to identify specifically what area is stuck in a protective reflex. The technique to release this trapped inflammation and relax the reflex uses indirect glides and positioning. This non-invasive approach results in relief from pain, tightness, postural asymmetries, and other symptoms in the body.

Horizons Therapy welcomes Yeda Vaccari!!

Yeda and his family fell in love with the Charlottesville area and the mountains of Virginia and are relocating to the area in early November. His wife and two children are coming from Colorado Springs.

Yeda has taken all the Fascial Counterstrain courses and is certified in the technique. We are excited to have him join our team. He will begin taking clients at Horizons Therapy November 19, 2025.

Meet Vicki, our newest receptionist. Vicki has lived in Stuarts Draft for the last 30 years with her husband. Prior to moving to Virginia, she lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and West Virginia. Vicki holds a Business degree from Eastern Mennonite University and is certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board in Virginia. She has had over 40 years of retail experience with 11 years in retail pharmacy. She enjoys assisting people here at Horizons Therapy and seeing the results the therapists are able to make happen.
