On National Caregivers Day, let’s take a moment to recognize and celebrate the vital role caregivers play in keeping older adults safe and happy at home. Professional home care provides reliable assistance, making life easier for families and helping to maintain daily routines. If you are caring for a loved one, consider how professional caregivers can support you and your family’s care plan. Remember, you are not alone on this journey.
If you need home care support and your loved one is a Veteran or surviving spouse, they may be eligible for a benefit that may help pay for home care assistance. Our partner, Veterans Care Coordination®, is dedicated to helping aging wartime Veterans and their surviving spouses explore the resources available for their home care needs. Call us today to find out more.
Caregiving is more than helping with tasks—it’s an act of generosity that builds connection and purpose. When we give our attention, patience, and compassion, we shape a life rooted in care, dignity, and shared humanity. 💛

Advocating for the future of home care in Virginia 💙
Thank you to everyone who continues to support advocacy efforts on behalf of Virginia’s home care industry. As the Commonwealth moves through a busy legislative season, we are asking our partners, families, and community members to lend their voices in support of key priorities that directly impact access to quality care:
✔️ Support Senate language allowing limited RN/LPN supervisory visits via telehealth (language only, DMAS-supported)
✔️ Strengthen the House budget to address the impact of minimum wage increases more meaningfully on personal care reimbursement
There are three action items available to help reinforce provider priorities as the budget moves toward conference. We encourage you to complete the action items and share them with your networks to help amplify participation across the Commonwealth.
