Our Mission Statement

We are a life-giving ministry designed to bring hope and purpose to the community at large for those in need. We seek to do this by facilitating the process of restoring broken relationships, hurting families and healing of wounded lives through prayer counseling ministry and Biblically-based teaching. We are committed to the task of restoring broken relationships and bringing healing to the hurting and wounded in the name of Jesus Christ. Spring of Hope Prayer Counseling Ministry is led by a board of directors from several churches and businesses in the region. Prayer Counseling is inner healing based on the Lordship of Jesus Christ, prayer and the application of Biblical principles and truths. Each session begins with a prayerful examination of the fruit in a counselee’s life. Bad fruit is then traced to bitter roots through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. With prayer and the Holy Spirit‘s leading, the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of the Cross are all applied to the deep wounds and practices of the heart. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Although we are non-profit organization, we recommend that each client contribute a donation for services rendered. Our suggested minimum donation is $60-$75 per session; however donations given beyond this will be greatly appreciated. Counselees may seek financial assistance from their church, employer or other sources. WHAT TYPE OF MINISTRY IS AVAIALBLE

Families Children and Teens

All are welcome regardless of Race, Faith or Background. We offer Prayer Counseling for:

Addictions Burnout
Forgiveness Depression
Anger/Rage Generational Sins
Emotional / Physical and Sexual Healing and much more.

We are honored to introduce, Pastor Ken Harris, Guest Speaker for our Annual Fundraising Dinner on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Pastor Ken Harris has been the Lead Pastor of New Life Christian Ministries located in Hagerstown, MD for the past 40 years. He leads the church through preaching and teaching, and is a lead guitarist and vocalist with the church Worship Teams. He has served as a Missionary in short terms missions in Thailand, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti where he teaches and trains pastors, church and missions leaders.

After living most of his teenage years on the streets being heavily involved in drugs and alcohol abuse he gave his life to Christ at the age of 22, and Gideon Bibles and The Gideon’s Ministry played a great part in his conversion to Christ and his early discipleship.

He and his wife Karla have been married for 47 years, have a daughter and two grandsons, and enjoy vacations on their Harley. Ken is an avid tennis player, musician, and guitar collector.

2026 Annual Fundraising Dinner​. Coming March 12, 2026!

Our annual banquet is an event designed to raise funds to meet the needs of individuals and families in the region. It is both an honor and privilege to facilitate inner heart healing through prayer counseling with our clients. Yet, many individuals and families do not have the financial ability to pay for these services.

Events like this help support Spring of Hope Ministry and the Counseling Center. We look forward to sharing this event with you, and thank you!

A National Prayer from Franklin Graham:
Lord,
We are thankful for the abundant blessings You have bestowed on America. Our forefathers looked to You as Protector, Provider, and the Promise of hope. But we have wandered far from that firm foundation. May we repent for turning our backs on Your faithfulness.
We pray that this great nation will be restored by Your forgiveness.
From bo***ge, You grant freedom.
Through Your own sacrifice, You offer salvation.
From the state of despair, You offer peace.
From the bounties of Heaven, You have blessed – not because of our goodness – but by Your grace.

President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that our nation should set apart a day for national prayer to confess our sins and transgressions in sorrow, “yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon… announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.”
“We have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our own hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own… we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God who made us! It behooves us then… to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.”
Help us to pray earnestly for our president and leaders who govern, that they will humble themselves and seek Your guidance so that everything we do will shine the light of Your glory in a darkened world.
May our prayers as a people and a nation be heard and blessed for such a time as this. We make this plea in faith, believing in the mighty name of Jesus our Lord.
